What We Did
AITX Community teamed up with Codex for a 48-hour hackathon in Austin, bringing together engineers, systems builders, founders, designers, and students to ship working AI projects.
Event Recap
AITX Community teamed up with Codex for a 48-hour build weekend in Austin. Builders had three days of meals, overnight venue access, mentors on-site, team formation help, and dedicated time to turn ideas into working projects.
Friday evening opened with check-in, a walkthrough, dinner, and the first build session. Saturday was a full day of hacking, networking, and progress check-ins. Sunday closed with code freeze, submissions, and a Hack Fair where teams demoed their work to the broader Austin community.

Hack Fair
The weekend culminated in the AITX Community x Codex Hack Fair on Sunday, May 10, 2026, where teams demoed their submissions to the broader Austin community.
Winners
Agents Track Winner: Manifold
A natural-language astrodynamics agent for exploring cislunar orbital dynamics. Manifold lets users render halo-orbit families around Lagrange points, compute manifold tubes, and animate transfers between orbit families. Its FastAPI backend implements the 3D Circular Restricted Three-Body Problem, GPT-4o parses natural-language commands, and a Three.js frontend visualizes trajectories in real time.
AutoHDR Track Winner: OBJECTS!
An agent orchestration system that converts a destination photoshoot into a final video while preserving the style of a reference video. The system extracts a timestamped span graph, builds a style template and photo inventory, selects and edits images for each shot, generates motion, and stitches the results to the reference music.
BrainForge / Vicinity Texas Open Data Track Winner: TxMoney - Follow the Money
An AI agent that answers natural-language questions about campaign financing in Texas state and Austin city politics, with every dollar amount linked to its source filing. It gives everyday Texans a practical tool for investigating their representatives.
